Lodging

Maybe you'd prefer a less formal (and more fun) housing option - consider staying with a local J/80 sailor for the duration of the event! if you're interested, and we'll match you up with a local racer on a space-available basis.

A popular tourist destination, the Lakes Region offers a wide range of lodging options, from small B&B's to large resort hotels. See http://www.laconia-weirs.org for a selection.

Three of the closest to the regatta location (see map, below) are:

Getting Here

Lake Winnipesaukee is just 300 miles distant from New York City and about 515 miles from Annapolis. Travel is on Interstate Highways.

For those flying in, Manchester (MHT) Airport provides jet service for several major airline carriers including Continental, Delta, Southwest, United, and US Air. Manchester is conveniently located approximately 60 miles south of the Lakes Region. Alternatively, Boston Logan International airport is located 100 miles south and offers many direct flights to locations throughout the world. Car rental and private limousines are available from both airports.

Area Map & Directions

A large-scale (approx. 15 mile radius) map of the area, centered on Fay's Boatyard is here. (The map is hosted by Google Maps ; use the Google Maps zoom/pan to set the desired scale, get driving directions, etc.)
